Representing the Community

Currently the BCV is a member of the:

·        Heads of Faith Forum

·        World Conference of Religions for Peace

·        Police Interfaith Council

·        Latrobe University Centre for Dialogue

·        Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils

In recent times the BCV has presented input to the Parliamentary Committee on Cemeteries and Crematoria Act. Input was given by BCV, Cambodian Buddhist Assoc, BLIA and Quang Minh Temple. Also in 2005 the then Chairperson (Brian Ashen) attended the State Premiers summit on the Religious and Racial Intolerance Act.
